YOUTH EMPOWERMENT PERFORMANCE PROJECT (YEPP)
In celebration of Pride Month, we're excited to announce a partnership with a non-profit organization working to serve LGBTQI+ youth who are experiencing homelessness.
Youth Empowerment Performance Project (YEPP) is a Chicago-based 501(c)(3) that is working to help young LGBTQI+ people through theatrical performance art. To learn more about YEPP's programs or support the organization directly, we encourage you to visit their website: wesayyepp.com.
We chose to partner with YEPP because of their innovative approach to helping young people in need. LGBTQ youth are disproportionately affected by homelessness. 40% of youth experiencing homelessness identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, or queer compared to only 7% of the general youth population.
Art can be a powerful tool for educating, connecting, and empowering communities. As a part of our commitment to donating 50% of company profits to non-profit organizations, we're excited to support YEPP's work.
