View full detailsHi there! My name is Abigail E. Penner and I am an illustrator based in little ol’ Lincoln, Nebraska. I’m a person who feels deeply and feels often. My heart is soft and my brain is trash, so I make art about it.
I have been drawing for as long as I can remember, but I officially made it my full-time gig after dropping out of college and realizing I’m not that good at anything else. Probably should have stayed in college. But it seems to be going okay! Since 2019, I’ve built my illustration business by being overwhelmingly vulnerable and taking risks. It’s never not scary. I’m lucky enough to be able to employ my husband, who runs my website. Together we run Abigail E. P. and share my bleeding heart with the world.
I’m so honored to have the community that I do, and it astonishes me that I am able to draw all the time and laugh and cry and scream with each and every person in that community. This big scary world isn’t so lonely over here.

On any given night in LA County, nearly 70,000 people experience homelessness. Roughly 5,000 of these people are under the age of 24.
At the beginning of 2022, we announced a commitment to donating 50% of our profits to organizations that are working to help homeless youth. Our goal was to empower the experts — providing resources to the people who best knew how to serve their own communities.
