How does Hippy Feet employ the homeless?
We bring jobs directly to homeless shelter through our packaging, embroidery, and screen printing processes.
How much are the young people paid?
Depending on laws in area we are serving, different wages are paid. We pay the higher of either $10/hr or minimum wage to each young person.
What eco-friendly materials are in your products?
We use environmentally friendly fibers whenever possible. Our goal is to limit the use of new synthetic materials, and environmentally damaging growing practices on our renewable materials. In most cases, we use recycled cotton from t-shirt trimmings as the base material in our socks. Other pairs may use an organic cotton base material. In addition to the cotton in our socks, we also use recycled polyester.
What sock size am I?
We base our sock sizes off of American shoe sizes. Our small size fits women's shoes size 5.5-9, and men's shoes size 4-7.5. Our large size fits women's shoes size 9.5+, and men's shoes size 8-14.
What happens if there's an issue with my product?
We rarely have quality issues with our products, but in the case that there is a manufacturing flaw, we're more than happy to refund or replace your product. Please send us an email through our Contact page and we'll help resolve your issue!
How can I get involved with Hippy Feet?
Right now, we have limited volunteer opportunities available. When in doubt, we suggest contact your local homeless shelter - they're almost always in need of an extra hand! If you're a college student, check out our On Campus page. We'd love to have you bring Hippy Feet to your campus!
How can I make custom socks for my organization?
Please shoot us an email through our Contact page. We love working on custom socks for companies and organizations! Our minimum order on custom socks starts at 120 pairs, and provides hours of employment for homeless youth.
